Kuch Na Kaho is the story of Raj (Abhishek) and Namrata (Aishwarya Rai).
Raj lives with his mother, a doctor, in New York who wants him to get married soon. After a while the incessant pressure that a mother usually applies on her son become prevalent much to Raj´s dismay. Raj is not ready to get married and is in no rush to anytime soon either. Things change when Raj comes to India to attend the marriage of his cousin. There, his uncle decides to listen to his mother and try to convince Raj to at least meet a few girls, even if it is not necessarily for marriage.
After reluctantly agreeing, Raj is even more surprised to find out that his uncle has set up a matchmaker to help Raj find some one. The responsibility for this is given to Namrata, a friend of Raj´s uncle. Unfortunately this doesn´t help matters as Raj and Namrata had met previously when Raj first came to India and all they shared were a few arguments complimented with a few light verbal skirmishes.
However, fate has something else for them. They do not even realize when amidst all of this they fall in love. How their relationship develops from this point is what Kuch Naa Kaho is all about and how life changes and still presents its obstacles describes Kuch Naa Kaho. Will Raj´s acceptance towards a possible bride in Namrata be encountered with its own troubles?
