Synopsis
Anu (Bipasha Basu) is a student of fine arts. She is speaking to her sister and her brother-in-law over the phone. The latter two are at the World Trade Center, New York. Even as Anu is making small talk to her sister, a plane hijacked by terrorists smashes into the building killing her and her husband on the spot. The impact of the tragedy shakes Anu completely and she suffers a mental setback. Two years later, Anu’s parents introduce her to Arpit [Priyanshu], a celebrated ad film-maker. Anu and Arpit are drawn towards one another and get engaged subsequently. Anu accidentally bumps into Aman [John Abraham], a member of an anti-terrorist organization. Anu is quickly drawn to Aman, for his savvy attitude, his honesty and his career. Anu becomes almost over endowed by him and refuses to continue with the marriage to Arpit. When she starts telling everyone about Aman, everyone comes to this conclusion that Aman is just an imaginary character and he does not exist in the whole world.Annupama, doesn`t believe so and as a result, she slashes her wrist. After her checkup, the doctors declare that Annupama is suffering from schizophrenia.She starts imagining things which are actually not happening and she starts loving such a person who never existed.
