Raghu (Sanjay Dutt) is the eldest son of Namdeo and Shanto. His younger brother Vijay (Mohnish Behl) has graduated Commerce but Raghu has not even got past his matriculation. His father gives him money to start a Pav-Bhahi stall, and Raghu and his friends start making a decent living. One day at the stall Rahgu and his friends "Dedh Futiya" get into a fight with a big Gangster's brother, and in the fight the gangster's brother and his friend are killed by Raghu and "Dedh Futiya". "Fracture Bandya" the gangster, is now after Raghu's blood but "Vitthal Kanya" (Ashish Vidyarthi), Fracture's enemy takes Raghu under his wings. Slowly Raghu rises in rank and power in the underworld. Soon he mees Sonu (Namrata Shiodkar), a prostitue, with whome he falls in love and marries. After killing all the members of the Fracture gang, Raghu becomes a force to reckon with in the underworld. He is dreaded and respected by everyone but loses the love and care of his mother and father. "Babanrao Kadam", the Home Minister, uses Rahgu to do his dirty work with the police kept at day due to Babanrao's influence. As seen as Babanrao's involvement in crime starts making headlines in the media,. Babanrao hatches a plan to deliver Raghu to the police, and have him killed in a staged Police-encounter. Will Raghu eventually accept the fact that he is merely used by Babanrao for his own political and financial gains. Do Raghu's parents eventually accept him, and what about Sonu?....
